A plain backyard in Highlands Park has been completely re-imagined into a resort-inspired garden that balances relaxation, entertaining, and family living.
From Blank Canvas to Entertainer’s Dream
After listening to the client’s brief, we designed a garden that would bring character, style, and functionality; while still leaving open lawn space for the children and family pet to enjoy.
During their follow-up design consultation, the clients were inspired by the fishponds in our own display gardens at Tropical Treasures. It didn’t take much convincing to add this feature to their plan, and the result has become a favourite part of the entire garden for the whole family.
Designed for Everyday Resort Living
The new garden flows seamlessly from the home’s indoor-outdoor living spaces, creating a stunning outlook from the entertaining area and even the bedrooms. Over time, the boundary planting will mature and fill out, surrounding the garden with lush greenery and adding to the resort-like atmosphere.
A Relationship of Trust
This wasn’t the first project we’ve completed for this household. We had previously landscaped another section of their property, which they loved. Their confidence in our design and process meant we had the freedom to bring this vision to life, resulting in a garden that combines beauty, function, and relaxation.
The finished space is not only an entertainer’s delight but also a sanctuary for the whole family, bringing a touch of resort-style living right into their Highlands Park backyard.
