We supply a great range of Indoor & Outdoor Tropical Plants, Landscape grades available as well as potted Indoor Plants; the perfect Living Gifts. Rare plants and all things tropical. We can help with design ideas & save you money.

We at Tropical Treasures Taranaki are a small local nursery serving the local Taranaki community with Tropical Indoor Plants and Subtropical Outdoor Plants. We will help you with landscape layout and design ideas. We will help you become a more knowledgeable tropical gardener and give you valuable information about the proper placement of your plants in your home garden.

We believe that proper indoor plants placement is just as important and we will help you with your indoor plant selections. We will give suggestions to ensure the right plants are chosen to compliment your indoor design. And we will also help you find that perfect spot for your indoor plants so you can create a piece of the tropics inside your home.

Due to logistical difficulties, we are unable to offer shipping services for all our plants (small or fragile) and only make an exception in specific circumstances. Tropical Treasures Taranaki supplies a large range of rare, hard to find plants and will make our best effort to ship these plants so that everyone in New Zealand can enjoy these rare beauties. This service is offered on a case by case basis so please don’t hesitate to contact us. Need Palms or other outdoor plants? no problem we can ship them to you.

Sharolyn also born & bred in Taranaki is an indoor plants specialist and has expertise in softscape design and planting, as well as indoor plant installations, her love for landscaping is evident & her particular style is what sets her apart. Shane Micheal Croton

Co-Founder/Landscape Designer

 Shane is born & bred in Taranaki He has had a successful career in the building industry & has a creative flair with landscape design, in particular hardscape where his solid plastering & building skills are proving to be a great asset to our landscaping team. He has been in the building/Landscaping industry for 40+ years Shane’s eye for detail is always beneficial for design planning.

Pepper

Chief Greeting Officer

Pepper is a Schnauzer extraordinaire with a tail-wagging attitude that keeps the team’s spirits high. Shes always ready to greet visitors to the nursery with a friendly bark and a wag of her tail.

Kim Negron

Shop/Web Assistant

Kim offers heaps of creativity to the team, she works on keeping our website and newsletters up to date. You’ll also find Kim in the shop/nursery at times helping price & display stock.

Levi Jorgensen

Shop Assistant

Levi has been a staff member for 3 years, he has good plant knowledge, loves Tillandsias, orchids, cacti & animals/insects. Levi will is employed to help with Retail sales & general nursery maintenance.
